Spirit and Life Seminary Now Accepting Students from All 50 U.S. States

Spirit and Life Seminary is pleased to announce that on September 9, 2025, SLS received notification from the Tennessee Higher Education Commission that SLS has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NCSARA). NC-SARA is a private nonprofit organization [501(c)(3)] that helps expand students’ access to educational opportunities and ensure more ePicient, consistent, and ePective regulation of distance education programs. NC-SARA has established a partnership with four regional compacts in the U.S., with more than 2,400 institutions in 49 member states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands all voluntarily participating in SARA. When asked about the significance of NC-SARA participation, Dr. Hernandez shared: “Up till receiving approval from NC-SARA, Spirit and Life Seminary had been authorized to enroll students from 22 U.S. states. With participation in NC-SARA, SLS can now enroll students from across the U.S., ePectively doubling our reach within the United States. We are excited that all COGOP ministers and leaders within the U.S. can now participate in the Ministry and Theological Studies program oPered by SLS!” Spirit and Life Seminary was recently granted accredited status by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. SLS oPers the Certificate in Ministry and Theological Studies and Bachelor of Ministry and Theological Studies transfer programs. The goal of SLS is to provide educational programs and opportunities that are theologically sound and practical in scope so that leadership and ministry within our movement are equipped to fulfill Christ’s mission by impacting their world.
